Mateo Eraña, a talented singer from Gijón, embarked on his musical journey at an early age, demonstrating a deep-rooted connection to music from the outset. His passionate pursuit of music began at the age of 8 when he enrolled in the Conservatorio Profesional de Música, specializing in the flute. Although initially drawn to the drums, Mateo’s love for the flute flourished in the absence of available drum spots at the conservatory.

Throughout his musical education, Mateo continued to explore his musical interests. At the age of 8, he began experimenting with drums, eventually honing his skills on the instrument. Joining several prominent bands in the Spanish rock scene, he embarked on tours across the peninsula, gaining invaluable experience along the way and receiving guidance from legendary figures such as “Jose Bruno” and “Manu Molina.”

In 2023, Mateo Eraña took a decisive step towards his solo career as a singer. That summer, he performed a series of sold-out concerts, showcasing his burgeoning popularity. His rise was meteoric, culminating in a SOLD OUT performance at the Teatro Albéniz in Gijón in January 2024, a monumental achievement at the tender age of 17. This milestone marked a pivotal moment in his career, underscoring his growth as an artist.

On February 23 of the same year, Mateo unveiled his debut single, “Amor al aire – Directo Albéniz,” recorded live during his concert at the Teatro Albéniz. The single was met with enthusiastic acclaim from his fans, heralding the beginning of an exciting new chapter in his career. Additionally, Mateo is currently in the process of creating his debut EP, slated for release in the lead-up to summer. With his innate talent and unwavering dedication to music, Mateo Eraña emerges as one of the most promising talents in today’s music scene.
